Vaughn was recommended to us by our realtor, and saved us tens of thousands of dollars by finding multiple issues in the first house that we looked at. He was very quick to answer follow-up questions after the inspection, and was instrumental in our decision to back out of the sale. We requested him again with our next offer, and he was once again very patient with us as he walked us through all the issues in the house. Vaughn did a thorough inspection of our new condo. He walked us through every point in person, explaining terminology and technology, and he suggested remediation where necessary. All along, he was comprehensive and professional, but kept us laughing with jokes and stories. We hired Vaughn to perform pre-purchase inspection for our new apartment. I write this letter having been through our third inspection with the most competent individual in his field in my opinion. It was my greatest effort to purchase a home that I could fix up within reason. Never could my wife and I imagine the big picture and what you don’t see. Vaughn finds it even though I do have a basic construction background. He knows every detail need to present to you to make a competent decision, every detail. Vaughan was not recommended to me. I just spent a few days cold calling inspectors, when I called Vaughan he asked more questions than I did in our telephone interview. He is busy for a good reason and gets to the point.
